Avocado Milkshake

You’ve probably seen this drink at Vietnamese or Thai/Lao’s restaurants, its perfect for Summer, but with the unpredictable Sydney weather you never really know when you might need a quick fix. There isn’t a real need for me to add to a millions of avocado recipes on the internet, but I’ll do it anyways since I have an avocado rolling around and I don’t want to have to put it in another sandwich.

Ingredients

  • Ice cubes (one tray)
  • Milk
  • 3 tbs Condensed milk
  • 1 x Avocado

Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 2-3

Untitled-5Step 1: Add the ice cubes, condensed milk and avocado into a blender.

Step 2: Fill the rest of the blender up with milk under it reaches the 1L mark. Blend.

Step 3: If you find that your drink isn’t as sweet as you would like (you might have a very bitter avocado, or you might just be like me and want to completely eradicate the taste of it …), you can add more condensed milk. Blend and Serve!

So that’s one of the ways I make eating avocado manageable. How do you eat yours?
