Need a snack, but don’t want the calories? Try this recipe from Cassey Ho’s Blogilates website. Lately Edwina and I have been trying to do her “June On Fire” Calendar Challenge in which we complete 4-5 routines a day based on videos from her Youtube channel. It doesn’t require any equipment and you pretty much get to do it in the comfort of your own home while she chants encouraging things at you. You will cry.
There is a lot of cardio involved so prepare to sweat it out. My personal favourites are the “Call Me Maybe Challenge” – which I still have not managed to do in sync with her, and the “Food Baby Workout”.
Back to the cookies. You will need half a banana and one cup of oats. That is all. (1) Throw the oats in a good processor until it becomes powdery, (2) Mix in the banana with your hands (3) Lay down a sheet of baking paper on a baking tray (4) Roll small balls of the batter and flatten them (5) Bake for 30 minutes until golden (I used 170°C fan force but there was no logic as to why I did).
